Subaru Impreza: the lowdown
The Subaru Impreza is about to lose some of its quirkiness; it's always been a slightly odd proposition, standing out from the hatchback norm with those gawky saloon dimensions - but now it's following the European trend for more practical hatchbacks. These are the official pictures of the new Impreza and WRX to be launched at the New York Motor Show this week. Opinions are already fiercely divided about its looks (more sophisticated or dull?
Ford introduced the second generation of its EcoSport compact SUV at the New Delhi Auto Expo on Wednesday. The EcoSport is the second of eight vehicles that will be launched in India by mid-decade. The EcoSport was developed in South America with teams from Asia, Europe and North America.
The new BMW X1 on the road for the first time
The X1 is designed to be a proper, compact SUV, aimed at a younger market, with less to spend, than most of BMW’s current offerings. Based on the 1 series platform, this shot seems to look exactly like the concept car (BMW X1 Concept gallery at the end). Not sure about the brown paint job, though.
